Why do I do this job?

Réal LeBlanc, BComm

Mortgage Agent

I started my lending career in 2010 when I moved to Calgary from my home in Nova Scotia. I started working at one of the big banks where I was one of hundreds of thousands of employees. I am great full for my time there as they helped me develop my skills early on.

Having said that however, I did feel caught between trying to offer my clients the best financial advice and having to answer to my employer, enough was enough.

I decided to become a Mortgage Broker where I can shop around for my clients and actually look out for their best interests.

I thank my mentors regularly who encouraged me to become a Broker. The reason; I’ve been able to help hundreds of clients achieve their Real Estate dreams and ultimately that’s the true meaning of this job. The more people I help, the better I sleep… simple as that.

I’ve also committed to donating a portion of my annual profits to charity and most recently I was able to help Easter Seals of Alberta and The Dream Centre. This is something that I am very proud of.
